Production Facilities
Our main production facilities in Europe and North America form the backbone of our organization. Our machines and equipment are produced on a total area of over 780,000 m2, using state-of-the-art technology and continuously improved processes.
Further to the main facilities, we maintain various additional service and upfit centres, both in Europe and in North America.

Central Warehouses
The European central Logistics Centre of the Aebi Schmidt Group has been located in Laatzen near Hanover (Germany) since 2009. Over 5,300 m2 of interior space, an impressive number of high racking systems are lined up next to each other. An additional 2,800 m2 of storage space is provided outside the building. Stocked in around 76,000 storage places, spare parts from 1 mm screws to 8 metre long roller cores are kept ready for dispatch.
In 2023, Aebi Schmidt North America opened a central logistics center in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Spanning 3,000 square meters, it efficiently houses over 2,500 parts supporting all American brands as well as Schmidt and Aebi. With growing demand and innovation, it expands to accommodate customers across North America. Every inch reflects precision, ensuring swift dispatch of components.

Shyft Group Legacy
The roots of the Shyft Group date back to 1975, the year Spartan was founded. A small group of automotive engineers drew on their collective expertise and launched their own company outside of Lansing, Michigan. Today, with thousands of dedicated associates across multiple states and campuses, a family of brands engineers, assembles, and services vehicles and upfits, and always provides a higher level of service and support after the sale.
The Shyft Group is now part of the Aebi Schmidt Group. System and Website updates are underway, but contacts and support remain unchanged. Together, we’re joining forces to better serve our customers with expanded offerings and enhanced support.
