Technical Concept
The hydrostatic drive system of the new Combicut series has been thoroughly refined. Planetary end drives efficiently transfer power to the wheels and enable high tractive force at comparatively low hydraulic pressure. The speed of the two wheels is controlled independently of one another, thereby enabling precise and effortless manoeuvring of the machine.
When steering, no energy is wasted unnecessarily; instead, the forward movement of the wheels is precisely modulated to differ as required. This stabilises the Combicut even on steep slopes and allows it to be manoeuvred with minimal effort. When turning, the wheels can rotate in opposite directions, allowing the machine to turn practically on the spot. This increases manoeuvrability in confined spaces whilst also protecting the ground.
User interface concept
All models in the new Combicut range are fitted as standard with the tried-and-tested active steering system. It responds immediately to light lateral pressure on the handlebars, making manoeuvring intuitive and effortless. On the CC 181, electric steering is also included as standard, whilst on the CC 161 it is available as an option. It allows for particularly responsive and precise control and can be combined with a footrest. This enables the driver to ride along comfortably on larger, less steep areas – providing noticeable relief during longer working sessions.
The direction of travel and speed are conveniently controlled with the thumb via the drive lever. When in reverse, the lever automatically returns to the neutral position when released. The 10-speed TipTronic also allows the driving speed to be precisely adjusted to suit the task and terrain.
New, patented device drive mechanism
The patented mechanical implement drive transmits engine power directly to the implement without any hydraulic losses. The engine and implement drive are aligned in a straight line, thereby reducing power redirects and power losses. This increases efficiency and reduces fuel consumption by up to 20 per cent compared with a hydraulic implement drive.
An integrated multi-disc clutch protects the implement drive from overload whilst ensuring that the implements start up smoothly. Fewer components in the drivetrain also reduce maintenance requirements.

CC Twin-Wheel Concept
Fitting and changing twin wheels on our single-axle tractors has never been so quick and easy. Thanks to a robust, well-designed adapter system, the twin tyres can be fitted in no time at all – and are compatible with existing tyres and the new pneumatic spiked wheels.
The overall width specified in the technical data applies to machines with an offset axle and is measured across the tyres. Without the offset axle, the machine is 44 mm narrower.
Agricultural machinery
The extensive Combicut range is designed for demanding agricultural tasks. It performs equally well when mowing, mulching and in other applications involving high-performance attachments, which can be operated efficiently thanks to the engine’s high power output and direct mechanical drive. The quick-release attachment system allows different implements to be changed quickly and without the need for tools. This transforms the Combicut from a specialist for forage harvesting into a versatile implement carrier for year-round use.
Municipal engineering
The extensive Combicut range also demonstrates its versatility in municipal services. Whether it’s maintaining green spaces, mulching, weed control or winter maintenance: the compact design, high manoeuvrability and powerful attachment drive enable efficient work even on difficult terrain and in confined spaces. The quick-release attachment system allows a wide range of attachments to be fitted – from mowers and sweepers to snow ploughs and snow blowers.
