With the TT 212, Aebi is opening a new chapter in the history of the Terratrac. The completely newly developed vehicle platform combines greater power reserves with noticeably improved ride comfort. New axles, an innovative mounting system for the engine and cab, and robust braking technology ensure smooth handling, high load-bearing capacity and maximum reliability – even under demanding operating conditions.
At the same time, the TT 212 broadens the range of applications in day-to-day work. Higher lifting capacities at the front and rear, as well as greater lateral displacement of the front hydraulics, provide greater flexibility when using different attachments.
New drive system for greater traction and driving comfort
With the TT 212, Aebi is introducing a completely newly developed drive system. It does away with the previous group gearbox and offers smooth power delivery as well as high tractive effort even at low engine speeds.
This is immediately noticeable in use: the machine runs more smoothly, operates more comfortably and delivers its power more responsively. At the same time, the new generation of drivetrains reduces noise levels and lowers fuel consumption. The TT 212 thus combines high efficiency with powerful and precise power transmission – even on challenging terrain.
Greater comfort. Intuitive operation.
The TT 212 also represents a significant step forward in terms of the operator’s workstation. The control concept found on the larger Aebi Terratrac and Transporter models is now being introduced to this performance class. A generous 12-inch touchscreen, ergonomically arranged controls and the Aebi drive lever integrated into the armrest create a modern and intuitive machine control system.
However, greater comfort is not achieved through the controls alone. The fully decoupled mounting of the engine, chassis and cab noticeably reduces vibrations and noise. Combined with the new radiator and fan design, this creates a quieter working environment, making the driver’s daily work less tiring.
The cabin climate has also been further developed. The new climate control system, with optimised airflow, distributes the temperature evenly and creates a pleasant working environment – even on long working days.
Production to start later this year
Production of the new Aebi TT 212 is set to begin later this year. Orders can be placed with immediate effect.
