Schmidt Supra 4002/5002 Practice Day
At a recent practical day in St. Blasien, contractors and users were given exclusive insights into the technology and production of our Schmidt Supra 4002/5002 autonomous driving snow clearing machine. In addition to visiting the production line and driving and operating the machine on the test site, the snow clearing professionals also used the event to exchange ideas among themselves.
What can snow removal professionals expect on a Supra practice day? A lot, of course, even if they already know the Supra and have spent quite a few hours at the wheel. The factory in St. Blasien welcomed customers and interested persons from the Swiss Schmidt dealers Florey GmbH and Grebo AG on the practice day and was able to show how a Supra is built. Martin Freudig, Manager Production St. Blasien, and Thomas Berger, Head Plant Germany, explained the individual steps and details worth knowing at the production line. Especially in front of the impressive clearing head, a lively discussion on application and technology issues then arose among the professionals and valuable insider tips were exchanged among the participants as well as between manufacturer and user. Finally, it was an impressive experience, especially for those who do not yet have a Supra in operation, to be able to drive and operate the machine, which weighs over 10 tonnes, in the company of the trainer.
