The MB Airless paint system is a high-pressure striping system built for precision and efficiency. A piston pump—operated hydraulically or by air—delivers paint at 800 to 2,000 PSI to a specialized airless paint gun. A low-pressure pump is used to charge the high-pressure pump, transferring material from the paint tank or heat exchangers. This high pressure, combined with a precise small tip, will produce clean, sharp-edged line patterns with excellent definition. The system supports flexible material handling with the ability to draw paint directly from manufacturer tote tanks, drums or non-pressurize paint tanks.

Chassis

Choose from Peterbilt, Isuzu, Mack, Autocar, Battle Motors, Freightliner, or International chassis, available in single axle, single axle with lift axle, tandem axle, or tandem axle with lift axle configurations. Chassis are available with gas, diesel, or CNG fuel options to match your operational and environmental requirements. Each chassis is engineered to meet the specific needs of the striping machine, and dual steer options are available for enhanced maneuverability.
MB chassis solutions are highly customizable, allowing each unit to be configured based on your operational needs, local regulations, and preferred platform layout.

Striping Platform

Designed with operator safety and convenience in mind – The truck features multiple forms of egress, including rear steps with anti-skid material for safe access to the rear operator area. A 12" wide rear bumper provides space for mounting optional equipment such as toolboxes, hose reels, and paint manifolds. Multiple access ladders and bolt-down railings ensure safe operation and allow easy removal and replacement for servicing. The striping platform is available with diamond tread plate or smooth surface with tread tape, and can be configured in steel or aluminum to meet specific requirements.

Striping Equipment

The striping equipment features a linear bearing vertical lift carriage mounted on dual outriggers for smooth, stable operation. Gun mounts accommodate air jets, paint guns, and bead guns, while multiple bead systems—including double drop and Visilok—offer versatile application options. Pressure vessels maintain a constant, regulated pressure to ensure precise paint flow to the gun tips, while ASME certified glass bead tanks deliver consistent media application. Air jets help clear debris to maintain clean lines. A hand painting gun is available, with or without a reel and beads. Choose between rear or mid-mount carriages featuring auto-lock stowage and optional rumble strip avoidance for smooth performance. Choose between single or dual wheel carriages, with a selection of standard or aircraft-style wheels. The optional Visilok system also accelerates paint curing, helping reduce drying time and boost productivity.

Paint and Pump System

Designed for high-performance striping, the airless paint system combines low-pressure 2" diaphragm pumps with high-pressure paint pumps from ARO, Titan, or Graco—available in hydraulic or air-driven motor configurations ranging from 8.3 to 18 GPM. The pumps are equipped with surge suppression technology, using either a surge chamber or accumulator, ensures a smooth and consistent material flow. For precise application control, paint heating systems and gun height adjusters are available. The system supports flexible gun setups, including high-build double gun configurations, and offers one, two, or three-color application systems. An optional “any color–any gun” paint manifold adds even more versatility to match complex marking requirements with ease.

Air Compressor

Reliable power on demand. Diesel-powered utility skid air compressors—including Boss 210/250 and Sullivan Pallatek 260—run on a robust 74 HP John Deere 4045D engine, delivering consistent performance with Tier 4 Final EPA compliance. For smaller capacity needs, gasoline engine power packs with air compressors ranging from 25 to 85 CFM are available, providing flexible solutions to meet specific application requirements.

Operator Controls & Safety Systems

Operator safety and comfort are built into every detail of the system. Secure seatbelt restraints and ergonomic seating support long shifts, while optional ROPs (Roll Over Protection Systems) and available crash attenuators offer added protection in high-risk environments. A range of operator stations—including open canopy or fully enclosed climate-controlled cabs in various configurations—can be equipped with bubble windows, sliding or swinging doors. In the rear operator cab, precise control of paint and atomizing pressure gives operators the ability to fine-tune application for consistent line quality. Communication is clear and reliable with your choice of wireless or hardwired headsets.

Line application guidance/carriage steering options include hydraulic or steer-by-wire steering wheels, joysticks, or Limntech automated operator systems. Additional guidance support includes rear-view camera systems (with optional DVR for traffic recording), guidance cameras, hydraulic pointers, driver and operator lasers, and bomb sights.
Control and data logging options range from automated skip controllers and handheld remotes to full material management and reporting systems. Lighting safety features such as night lighting, strobes, and message or arrow boards ensure maximum visibility and operational safety in all conditions.
