“We got started with Aebi as a customer and liked the tractor enough that we decided to become a dealer,” says Philippo. “We met with Josef Seiler at Aebi Schmidt North America, did all the paperwork, got set up, and are happy to be an Aebi dealer here in Kentucky.”
Johnny credits his father, a European native, with discovering the Aebi brand and admiring its engineering. Aebi’s Swiss-designed tractors proved to be a perfect fit for Kentucky’s rugged topography.
“Being a Swiss tractor designed to handle the slopes, it fits well in the steep hills and hollers in Kentucky,” Philippo explains. According to Josef Seiler, Sales Manager for European products at Aebi Schmidt North America, that’s by design.

A Tractor Like No Other
“What sets our tractors apart is their unmatched combination of safety, versatility, and operator comfort,” says Seiler. “With a low center of gravity, fully enclosed cab with AC and heat, and both front and rear PTOs — a feature unique to Aebi — these tractors are built for year-round performance. There’s really no direct competitor that offers this level of capability in such a compact, safe, and ergonomic design.”
For Holland Farms, the impact was immediate. The TT 281+ allowed them to expand mowing operations down steep slopes, nearly doubling hay production.
“We used to only mow our ridgetops, but the Aebi allows us to go further down the incline, then rake the hay back up so we can run a bailer across it.”

Handle the Impossible with Ease
Philippo describes the Aebi TT as being in a class of its own.
“It’s a bit of an apples and oranges question when comparing it to other tractors,” he says. “Most of the other tractors we’ve used are row crop tractors. The Aebi goes places I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking anything else. I’ve been in tricky situations and never had to white-knuckle the steering wheel,” he adds. “The tractor is planted. No problem.”
Beyond performance, the Aebi has delivered on comfort and confidence. “For folks who get familiar with the product, it very quickly sells itself. If you're dealing with a steep landscape and need it cut — this tractor is incredible.”
Seiler adds, “Customers who will really value the capabilities of the Aebi TT range from municipalities and DOTs to ski resorts, landfills, and private farms — anyone who needs reliable performance on tough terrain.”

For Holland Farms, the TT 281+ not only transformed their hay production but also earned their confidence with its stability and engineering excellence. Now, as a dealer, Holland Farms is helping others discover the same reliability and innovation that reshaped their own operations.
