Designed for Alpine Performance
The winter fleet deployed on Trento’s state roads was delivered through our partner Autoindustriale and consists of eight Unimog U427 vehicles, each equipped with Schmidt TARRON MS32.1 snow ploughs and Schmidt Stratos F20-18 VES490 spreaders.
TARRON MS32.1 snow ploughs are specifically designed for alpine snow clearing. Their aggressive working angle ensures optimal contact with the road surface, while the optimised weight supports effective removal of compacted snow and ice.
Stratos F20-18 VES490 spreaders are engineered for mounting on the Unimog U427 and deliver precise spreading, high efficiency and consistent performance – essential for maintaining safety on alpine roads under changing winter conditions.

With a tight schedule leading up to the Winter Games in Cortina, early planning and close coordination were essential. Reserved production capacities and continuous communication ensured delivery timelines remained under control and all vehicles were fully operational as planned.
