One Source, Total Solution
Towmaster is well-known for its rugged trailers and dependable truck equipment, but what sets the company apart is its ability to build both—and build them to work together flawlessly.
“We often manufacture either a trailer or perform a truck upfit,” said Bob Pace, Sales Manager for Towmaster’s Government Trailer Division. “But when we get to work with both truck and trailer, we can design for complete compatibility. By building the trailer and upfitting the truck together, we ensure everything works in perfect synchronization to deliver, maximum safety, function, and performance.”
By owning the entire process, Towmaster ensures that every component—from hydraulics to toolboxes to camera systems—integrates with precision. The result? A purpose-built solution engineered to perform in the most demanding field conditions.
Custom-Built to Handle the Heavyweights
At the center of this haul-ready setup is Towmaster’s T-110DTG Low-Boy Detachable Gooseneck Trailer, a model purpose-built to transport oversized, high-weight equipment with ease. Designed with modular frame construction and a fifth-wheel deck hook-up, the T-110DTG delivers superior flexibility and long-term durability.
Its detachable gooseneck design simplifies the loading and unloading process, even on uneven terrain, while pre-painted components that are assembled after finishing ensure a clean, corrosion-resistant build with extended service life.
This trailer was built start-to-finish at Towmaster’s Minnesota facility, guaranteeing top-tier quality control and consistency at every step.

Built from the Chassis Up
To match the trailer’s capabilities, Towmaster selected a Peterbilt 567 chassis, then upfitted it entirely in-house to ensure the truck worked seamlessly with the trailer. Every detail—from the heavy-duty wet kit and hydraulic plumbing to the toolboxes and camera systems—was designed with the end user in mind.
“We knew the equipment this combo would be hauling wasn’t average—it’s extremely heavy and extremely valuable,” said Chris Pokornowski, Towmaster’s General Manager of the Trailer Division. “That meant the upfit had to be spot-on. By managing it ourselves, we could make sure nothing was overlooked.”
Engineered for the Real World
The payload in question, a large hydraulic drill rig with a capacity of up to 1,800 mm diameter and 60 meters of drilling depth, is a beast of a machine. Hauling it requires more than just muscle — it demands engineering finesse.
Towmaster’s ability to design and deliver both the trailer and truck as an integrated system ensured the final build could withstand the rigors of transport without compromise. From maneuverability and load balance to braking and safety systems, every detail was tailored to meet the unique demands of the payload.

Built to Perform. Built to Last.
In an industry where delays, mismatched equipment, or overlooked specs can mean real costs, Towmaster proves the value of vertical integration. By controlling both ends of the haul, from chassis to hitch, they delivered a solution that’s not just job-ready, but future-ready.
Whether it’s for utilities, infrastructure, or specialized construction, when the haul matters, Towmaster delivers a complete package—built to perform and built to haul.
