Aebi Schmidt Group Launches Advantic™ Van Body Program with Isuzu

Bristol, Indiana, USA – Aebi Schmidt Group has announced the launch of the Advantic van body program in collaboration with Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. (ICTA), introducing a premium body-and-chassis solution designed to simplify the upfit process for dealers and commercial customers across North America.

Built with advanced composite technology, the Advantic body represents a new generation of truck body design. Unlike traditional sheet-and-post construction, the composite structure provides improved strength, lighter weight, and enhanced durability while maintaining a clean, modern appearance.

Engineered for demanding commercial environments, the Advantic body helps reduce lifecycle costs while protecting long-term fleet investments. Its versatile design also allows the body to be transferred between multiple chassis during its service life, providing fleets with added flexibility and long-term value.

Key Advantic Truck Body Features

Seamless Exterior Design
Sleek styling eliminates fasteners, panels, bows, and posts, improving durability and leak resistance.

High-Tensile Glass Fibers
Composite material is 4× stronger than .040” aluminum, resisting dents and punctures.

Durable Construction
The structure does not rely on adhesives, helping prevent delamination over time. Panels are designed for easier repair, supporting extended service life.

Angled Structure
Built stronger with enhanced aerodynamics.

Sustainable Materials
The Advantic body is fully recyclable and environmentally responsible, delivering strong performance with a reduced environmental impact compared to traditional composite designs.

Up to 44% Lighter
Compared to plate composite and aluminum sheet-and-post bodies, the lighter construction can support higher potential payload capacity depending on the application.
