Construction
The MSPV is built for durability in demanding winter conditions. Its hopper is available in 201 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel or powder coated carbon steel to ensure the spreader will withstand corrosion and wear. The 8-foot hopper has a 1.8 cubic yard capacity and features sloped side panels set at a 45-degree angle to promote consistent material flow. All components are formed from 12-gauge powder coated carbon steel, including the hopper shell and long sills. The long sills are slotted allowing easy removal of the drive and idler shafts for maintenance access.
Distribution System
The MSPV delivers consistent, controlled material placement through a 13.5-inch spreading disc. The spinner is powered by a hydraulic motor or chain-driven system, ensuring reliable performance even in cold environments. A bolt-on spinner assembly with a seal saver kit (available for dual motor hydraulic drive systems) enhances durability and simplifies servicing. The system provides even material distribution and can be configured for different materials and spread patterns as required.
Mounting System
The MSPV can be fitted with a self-loading leg kit, a chain Binder mounting kit or a ratchet strap mounting kit for easy, safe installation and removal — no additional lifting equipment required.
