Mr Klösch, where is the VT 470 Vario mainly used in Triesenberg?
We use our Aebi very versatile for a wide range of tasks: for example, maintaining playgrounds and natural roads – even in the alpine areas. In winter, the transporter is fitted with a spreader and snow plough for road maintenance.
Your vehicle is equipped with a hooklift. Why did you choose this option?
The hooklift gives us enormous flexibility. We work with different swap containers, for example on sports fields or at the cemetery. It is also used for a wide range of transport tasks. In winter, we can quickly mount the spreader on a swap frame and just as easily reconfigure the vehicle when there is no snow. This way, we remain extremely flexible.
You compared several transporters. Why did you choose the VT 470 Vario?
We compared four transporters from different manufacturers. The VT 470 Vario stood out thanks to its tight turning circle, off-road capability, and the continuously variable Vario transmission. Equally important for us was the high payload the vehicle offers. The vehicle is also very easy to operate – every one of our drivers manages it with ease. All functions are accessible via the joystick, and the display provides an excellent overview – overall, it is a thoroughly reliable and versatile vehicle.
How is service and support organised for the transporter?
Aebi has a very strong dealer network. We are supported by the Good Maschinencenter in Mels – they can be on site within around 30 minutes and provide uncomplicated assistance. Spare parts are also always readily available.
