Expansion of the ASH Group’s Board of Directors: Andreas Rickenbacher was elected as a new and additional member of the ASH Group’s Board of Directors at an extraordinary General Meeting of 09/12/2016.

Andreas Rickenbacher is the founder and owner of Andreas Rickenbacher Management AG (CH-Bern). He studied business administration and political science at the Universities of St. Gallen (HSG – Business Academy) and Bern and completed his studies in Bern in 1996 with a master’s degree (M Sc).

Rickenbacher was Minister of Economic Affairs and Councillor of the Canton of Bern from 2006 to 2016. In this capacity he presided the Conference of Cantonal Directors of Economics from 2013 to 2016. From 1994 to 2006 he was a member of the Cantonal Parliament.

Today Rickenbacher is an entrepreneur and non-executive member of the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees. He is involved in industrial and service companies which operate at the interface of the private and the public sector as well as politics. Among others he is a member of the Board of Directors of following companies: Bernexpo Holding AG (Bern), HRS Holding AG (Frauenfeld) und Swissgrid AG (Laufenburg). Furthermore he is co-founder and Vice President of the Foundation Switzerland Innovation and a member of the organizing committee of the International Lauberhornrennen Wengen (FIS WORLDCUP WENGEN).

From 2007 to 2016 Rickenbacher was a member of the jury of the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) and attended this forum several times as a speaker. Today he is a member of the Advisory Board of the SEF.
