Data acquisition
GPS-supported and automated acquisition, transfer and processing of operational and performance data from spreading and clearing vehicles.

Hardware components
Schmidt winter maintenance technology can be optionally fitted with the necessary hardware. Winter maintenance equipment from other manufacturers can be complemented via interfaces with affordable, retrofittable hardware, making them able to measure, transfer and process according to the same criteria.

Road Network and GIS Basics
Existing road information banks can be used as a network and GIS bases. If no network or GIS bases are available, NOVASIB creates road networks and geographic information systems specifically catered to the customers’ needs.

Data collection and analysis
WEB-BASED WINTERLOGIC is an internet application. Costly software installations and updates are no longer necessary. Data transfer takes place using GPRS. Transfer via digital radio is also possible. Access to the data occurs through certified, secure and passwordprotected internet access. The customer’s administration determines the content of the data viewable. The data can be presented as real-time information as well as, blended analysis. The input of the collected data into existing operational analysis systems takes place using standardised interfaces.
