Over the last 18 months, Aebi Burgdorf has built a completely new factory at a cost of around CHF 28 million in which around 200 employees work. On 17th June 2010, after a group-by-group tour of the new factory and a demonstration of the Aebi machinery, the guests then enjoyed a pleasant evening barbecue.
During a test drive, Hansjörg Walter immediately got the Terratrac Aebi TT270 to drift and established himself as an absolute top driver. At the same time, Toni Brunner disappeared into the darkness of the night with his favourite Terratrac and only came back after a good quarter of an hour. Many had seriously suspected that he was so impressed with the high-tech model that he had headed straight for his hometown in Eastern Switzerland!
Head of the group, Caspar Baader, thanked Peter Spuhler, Walter T. Vogel, CEO of the Aebi Group and Marco Studer, COO of Aebi Burgdorf, for their hospitality and the exciting insights into this dynamic company and its products. Finally, the successful evening was topped off with a traditional communal singsong.
